Today, July 7, is an exciting day for our company. After months of careful planning and hard work, I am pleased to share that Quorum Health has successfully completed our financial reorganization and emerged from the Chapter 11 process.
This allows us a fresh start with a restructured balance sheet and a more sustainable capital structure. As a result, we are better positioned to continue supporting our community hospitals and QHR Health as we all work to navigate the challenges facing health care providers today.

This is truly a monumental day for our company as we move forward stronger than before. While there are still challenges ahead, we are better positioned to overcome them with continued hard work and a shared commitment to our patients and clients. If you received a legal notification by mail regarding our recently announced financial reorganization, please note that as part of the restructuring process, the Court requires Quorum Health to formally notify a wide range of stakeholders including all employees, some physicians, vendors and patients from the past six months. If a minor (child) was a patient, the notification may be addressed to that child and his/her legal guardian.
Please know that these notices are a customary part of the financial restructuring process and will not impact our relationship with you. The purpose of the notice is simply to keep you informed of our process. You may also receive additional similar notices in the coming months.
